Establishing a nonprofit that WINS grants takes time, strategy, and cash flows. Below are three rule-of-thumb benchmarks your nonprofit should meet before you begin actively applying for grants.

You know your nonprofit is ready to apply for grants when it has:

Programs in operation for at least 2 years;

Consistent operating revenues that exceed annual expenses; and

Proven and measurable program impact.
