PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION
If you are starting a nonprofit, learning about fundraising is a must. Grant writing is one fundraising tool with which you should be familiar. In this grant writing presentation, you will gain a basic understanding of how to structure your grant proposal. You will learn the importance of emotional appeal, educating the reader, describing the use of funds, and program impact.
An effective grant proposal will have, at a minimum, the following components: the organization's history, a description of the problem, program goals and objectives, the budget, the program's outcomes/impact, and how the program will be economically sustainable in the future.
